Lacey Recieves invite to X-Games 12

Infamous is proud to announce that young skateboard phenom, Lacey Baker has been invited to compete in the Women's Street event at this years X-Games in LA,CA. With only 8 women being invited to this years event it's a privilege for Lacey to be invited at such a young age and those that have seen her skate knows she deserves to be there skating with the top Women's street skaters in the world. Check back in August for updates on the event.

Lacey receives Best Flick Award at the Damn Am!

Although Lacey was the only female competting against over a hundred male skaters at thei years Tampa Damn Am she still walked away with the Best Flick Award for all her stylish technical flick tricks!

Spencer Graduates!!!

Congrats to Spencer who is a recent high school grad. Now that she's done school she will be able to concentrate on Snowboarding 100%. Look out for her shred skills and her hottness at a mountain near you!

Lacey places 1st at the All American Street Style Pro Skateboarding Open

Lacey headed out to Fayetteville, NC for the 1st annual event where she not only placed 1st in the Women's Street event but also got 3rd in the Manual Pad contest up against the guys! Nice job Lacey! click here for full contest details.

Powder in Whistler!

Elena and Mercedes spent lst week catboarding in Whistler at Backcountry Snowcats a new operation out of Pemberton. There wasn't much sun but tons of snow and Elena charged it on her first backcountry trip, charging off pillow lines and getting ill on the QP jib. Mercedes dropped some good lines and managed to knee herself in the face twice. Ouch!

It was a big week for Elena and Spencer at The US Open, the biggest, longest standing and most highly respected snowboarding contest. Elena Hight placed 3rd in the Pipe her best placing at the event to date and Spencer O'Brien who won the Rookie 1st year placed 2nd in the Slopestyle beating out many top female slopestyle competitors! Simon Chamberlain Rail Jam winner

Simon is currently in Japan where he competed in the annual Toshiba Rail Jam and took home first place and a check for 200,000 YEN. Yeah Simon!!! Getting Paid! Party Podium! Fans and Autographs!

Dragon's Uncontest at Mt. Seymour

Dave Birnie hosted the event held at Seymour this weekend for local shredders to get the chance to ride a dope park, have fun and win prizes. Jordan Bell showed up to represent Dragon and 32 and killed it on the rails! Jordan Bell Gap to Boardslide Birnie on the Mic!

Lacey went over to Melburn recently to compete in the Gallaz Jam at the Global Assault. Lacey had an awesome time, skated sick and placed 4th in Women's street. Good Job Lacey! Check out some photos from her trip!

A week at the Olympics!

Elena, Mercedes, and I had an awesome time in Italy! Mercedes rode super well in th qualifiers and Elena killed it in the finals ending up in 6th place! There was tons of stuu to do over there, parties, events, press, interviews with Montel, you name it! Mercedes and the Canadian team at the opening ceremony! Elena and Bonnie! Jordan Bell wins the Volcom Peanut Butter and Rail Jam at Summit at Snoqualmie!

Jordan headed down this past weekend and not only did he win the event with a f/s 270 to nose to 270 out on the down rail but he also got to meet Jamie Lynn! Ya Jordan!

Interior Road Gap

Stian Solberg came up to Canada to hook up with the Defective crew. They headed into the interior of BC where the snow is pretty much neck deep and hit this road gap. Look for Stian in Defective films 2007 fall release.

Olympic Update with Mercedes!

Mercedes is already over in Bardonecchia hanging out in the Athletes Village. So far she says there's lots of Security, a huge Canadian flag and since the athletes are all in such top physical shape and their health is very important they have provided free McDonalds!!!!!!

X-Games Mania!

It was crazy weekend in Aspen. Elena was bombarded by media surrounding the Olympic hype ans she definitely has a growing fan base out in Aspen. Mercedes rode super well in the SuperPipe Finals dropping in with a backside 720! Ya Mer! The Damian Marley concert was definitely my favorite part of the weekend! Elena's so cool she signs RAZR's! 3rd, Junior Champ, and US Olympic

What a day for Elena Hight! Last nights contest was postponed because of heavy winds and the event was help first thing this morning. It was sunny and super icy and although Elena was super tierd she still podiumed with another 3rd place finish. After the awards for todays pipe the Junior National Champions were named and this year it was Elena Hight and Sean White! Oh ya! And of course to top if off Elena was named to the US Olympic Halfpipe team. At 16 years of age Elena is the youngest US female to compete in this years Olympic Games! Ya Elena!!!!!! Another Podium finish for Elena Hight!

It was an intense night at the second to last Grand Prix in New Jersey tonight. Elena had a flawless run with a F/S 900 to B/S 540 to back to back 720's. It was a pretty tight descision between Elena and Gretchen and although we all thought Elena should have won, we'll take a 2nd place! Good job Elena! Elena and US Team Coach Bud Keene! Infamous signs Lacey Baker!

I saw photos of Lacey in SG and thought she was good but when I saw her skate in person at Slam City she blew me away! This girls got sick style and mad pop on all her tricks. She's s super technical, consistant rider and although she did well at Slam City by placing 2nd I thought she should have won. You'll be seeing lots of her in the near feature and she's going to be taking out out all the rest of the girls and she's only 14!
